Process

This piece was an exercise as much as it was a present. I roughly sketched what it would look like on paper and scanned it in. I wanted to experiment with concepts I had learned in Art 101. From what I understand, contour is reserved only for defining outline. Color and shadow should do the rest of the work. I of course cheated a bit, but I still tried my best to stick to that approach. It didn't turn out too bad, and I feel it was a pretty good first non-comic piece.
